Why Payment Hub

Built for merchants who'd rather keep their money.

Non-custodial by design

Payments go straight to your wallet. Your payout and the fee are separate outputs in the same on-chain transaction — so there's no balance to freeze, no payout schedule and no one between you and your money.

See how settlement works

Settled in seconds

Bitcoin Cash clears fast and cheap, so you're not waiting on batch payouts.

Zero chargebacks

Payments are final. No disputes, no reversals, no fraud losses.

CashTokens support

Invoice in BCH or whitelisted tokens, including stablecoins like MUSD and PUSD.

Signed webhooks

Every notification is Ed25519-signed, so your backend can trust it cryptographically.

Lowest fee

Compare the fees.

Drag to the amount you're receiving. Paytaca Payment Hub takes a flat 1% — waived below $0.01 and capped at $1.00 — while most processors stack a percentage on top of a fixed fee.

Typical published rates, shown for illustration. Fiat fees assume standard online card rates and vary by region, volume and plan; crypto processor rates vary too. Bitcoin Cash miner fees are extra and typically a fraction of a cent.

How settlement works

One payment, split on-chain — never in our account.

Payment Hub doesn't collect your money and pay it out later. When a customer pays, the merchant payout and the processing fee are written as two separate outputs in the same Bitcoin Cash transaction. The chain does the splitting, so funds land directly in your wallet in seconds — with no holding period.

  • The fee is its own output

It sits beside your payout as a distinct recipient in the transaction — not skimmed from a balance we hold on your behalf.

  • Zero custody, zero holding period

Your funds never pass through Payment Hub. There's no balance to withdraw and no payout schedule to wait on.

  • Paid directly, in seconds

The merchant output reaches your wallet the moment the transaction confirms — typically seconds, not days.

Recurring payments, enforced on-chain

Set up subscription plans backed by a CashScript smart contract. Customers approve once and payments recur on schedule — with no payment processor holding the funds and no silent renewals.

  • Both merchant- and customer-initiated cancellation
  • An on-chain NFT receipt that proves the subscription
  • Watchtower monitoring so matured payments are never missed

A small API that does the heavy lifting.

Configure a request on the right and copy it into your stack. One endpoint creates an invoice; the response gives you a payment page and a status you can poll or subscribe to. Webhooks arrive signed so you always know the payment is real.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

We support Bitcoin Cash (BCH) natively for lightning-fast, near-zero fee transactions. We also support specific CashTokens issued on the BCH network.

Currently supported stablecoins include:

Note: CashTokens are currently supported for Invoice payments only. Subscription (recurring) payments and top-ups currently only support standard BCH.

Managing your stores, viewing past invoices, setting up subscription plans (for merchants), and managing active subscriptions (for both customers and merchants) are all done through the Paytaca App in the dedicated Payment Hub App section. From there, you can also configure your Webhook URL and instantly generate secure, non-custodial Ed25519 API keys to use in your integrations.
Paytaca Payment Hub charges a small 1% processing fee per transaction. If the calculated fee is less than $0.01 USD, the fee is waived. The fee is strictly capped at a maximum of $1.00 USD (converted to BCH at the exchange rate at the time of payment). You will also pay the standard Bitcoin Cash miner fee, which is typically a fraction of a cent.
Whenever a customer pays an invoice, our servers instantly send a POST request with the transaction payload to your configured webhook URL. All payloads are signed securely with an Ed25519 signature so your backend can cryptographically verify that the notification came directly from us.
